9 things all you girls need to do when you're in a bad mood

Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, I mean, I wish it was, but it just isn't. Nor do the happiest of people have a smile on their faces, everyday. But I do know one thing, those bad moods can be redeemed. So, the next time you're having a 'down day', perhaps try following these little steps...
Soak away your sorrows
1.) Is there anything that a scorching hot bubble bath can't solve? Um yes. But listen to this... If you light every candle possible, pour a glass of wine, and get ready to say cya to the world for an hour, your mood will be improved by at least 10% after doing so. Plus, who doesn't love wrinkly bath hands?

2.) "Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick and pull yourself together." I'm certain you all know this quote already...but if not, I feel seriously sorry for you. I mean, it's pretty much a game changer as far as bad moods go. And on that note, pass me the red lippy!

3.) Now I know this one is similar to my last 'mood booster' suggestion, but how can you not feel happy- even if only slightly- when you're looking your absolute best? Big bouncy hair, your most stylish, Pinterest worthy outfit, and a face full of perfect makeup- yep, you look great.

4.) Let's face it nothing beats cozying up on the sofa with your duvet ready to watch your favourite film, or tv series for that matter. You know those days where if it involves getting changed out of your onesie, then you might as well forget it? Yeah, well we all need a few of those days every now and then.

Order a takeaway/rustle up your favourite food
5.) As a massive food lover greedy pig, this one works every time for me. One large Domino's pizza, and a tub of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream later, and you can bet I might be feeling a bit sick, but definitely happier. Oh, and rumour has it calories don't count when you're in a right mood, remember that one. Yeah, alright Lauren, don't kid yourself.

6.) Every girl understands the sheer excitement of a new piece of clothing, or an entire new outfit if you're feeling really spend-y. It works wonders for your mood, and yep, it may not be so brill for your bank account, but hey, there's always tomorrow to worry about that. Here's three words to live by; BUY THE SHOES.

7.) Feel a bit of a state? A massive pamper session will sort you out. Have a rummage in your cupboards for a posh moisturiser, grab your finest nail varnishes, and maybe if you're feeling really fancy, sit back and relax with a face mask.

Turn the music up & grab a drink 
8.) Foul mood? Annoyed? Upset? If so, get those classic throwback songs that you used to love turned right up, grab your favourite drink and get ready to have a good old sing song... And maybe even pull out your winning dance moves after a couple of glasses of your chosen beverage. A bit of Destiny's Child, Justin Timberlake 'seƱorita' and a few club anthems usually do the trick for me. Nothing like dancing around like a nutter to shake of your bad mood, ay?! 

Gossip with your gal pals 
9.) And last, but certainly not least, have a good old gossip. Call your friends round- or in my case, my mum- and put the world to rights. I'm sure if you have really good friends they won't mind if you rant about the same thing for an hour, that's what friends are for, right?! Right.

And if you're still in a mood after following all of these steps, maybe a few cocktails will help, who knows? What do you do when you're feeling a bit rubbish?
