My pick of the best homeware items

Hey, girls, I need your opinion on something; heart shaped bowls, egg houses, and pretty candle holders are cute, right? Yep, you know where this ones heading, I'm going to be talking all things homeware for the next five minutes. I mean, a house to keep your eggs in should just we aww-ed over... Correct me if I'm wrong?

So, if I haven't bored you all already with my grandma ways- I'll be shocked if you say I haven't- I thought I'd share my all time fave homeware items with you all. Maybe this obsession of mine really means I'm a fifty year old woman in disguise, who knows? I'll let you lot decide on that one.

First up is quite possibly my favourite item out of the entire kitchen; or, to be precise, my favourite homeware item of all damn time. You may have already clicked on though? Being as I have mentioned my undying love for this item twice already. Oh, and yes, yes I did 'aww' out loud when I spied it out of the corner of my eye in Next, maybe I need to get out more?

Heart kettle | Link
Following on from the cute kitchen theme; here's an extremely girly kettle for you to go all heart eye emoji over. And, if like me you agree that this is the type of kettle you just can't not have in your life, then you can pick one up from Next. Don't worry, you can thank me later, just promise me that you'll make me a cuppa in return. Maybe throw a couple of Bourbon biscuits in on the deal too, thanks!

Tea, coffee, and sugar jars | Link
Have you noticed the ever so subtle heart theme yet? You maybe have now. These make for the perfect quirky touch as they aren't your everyday kind of tea, coffee, and sugar jars. Again, these are from Next. As far as cute girly homeware items go, Next would definitely win top of the class if it was down to me, and oh, go on then, I'd maybe even throw a gold star in too.

Cake stand | Link
I'm sure you all know by now that I'm a bit of a baking enthusiast- watch out Mary Berry. If you've been slaving away in the kitchen for a couple of hours, whipping up something that deserves the 'star baker' title, then you're going to want a cake stand to show your latest batch of cupcakes off on. Psst... Instagram loves cupcakes, remember that.

'Queen of' kitchen sign | Link
Last, but very not least, my Queen of cocktails & cupcakes sign. A company called 'I Just Love It' very kindly sent me this a few weeks ago now, and I can confirm that I do just love it- see what I did there? The website also has a huge selection of personalised gifts to choose from, so perfect for this time of year, what with Christmas being just around the corner.

*Side note- I may be Queen of cocktails and cupcakes, but when it comes to opening a tin of beans, that takes me at least half an hour because I can't use a tin opener. I honestly amaze myself!

If you've made it to the bottom, and not yawned once, then round of applause for you. On a serious note, are you a fan of all things homeware? I'd love to know your favourite places to shop!
